Try telling Julian Nagelsmann that there is little to play for tonight
Germany take on Hungary tonight in the Nations League as head coach Julian Nagelsmann calls for full focus despite there being nothing to play for.
A 7-0 thumping of Bosnia and Herzegovina last time out secured top spot in League A3 ahead of the Netherlands with a game to spare, but Nagelsmann still sees tonight's game as key to their ongoing development under him.
"There is no great motivation as far as the group is concerned. We won the group. We get the motivation from wanting to develop," Nagelsmann told reporters on Monday.
"We do not have many matches until the World Cup but just a few. Little time to develop until the World Cup qualification and little time, if hopefully qualified, until the World Cup. So there is limited time tolerance in terms of development."
Hungary will be fearing the worst after going down 4-0 to Netherlands last time out, even if the German make significant changes.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will not be televised.
Live stream: Fans can catch the contest live online via the Viaplay International YouTube channels. Kick-off is at 7.45pm GMT.
