Reds seeking to record back-to-back wins in Europe and seal play-off spot
After suffering two defeats in five league phase fixtures, Liverpool got back on track before the new year as they recorded an impressive 1-0 win over last season’s beaten finalists Inter Milan away from home.
Another difficult away game is on the horizon for the Reds as they take on a Marseille side who have lost just once at home in the competition thus far.
It should be an open game at the Orange Velodrome with both teams targeting a win to boost their qualification hopes.
Liverpool can secure a play-off spot, at the very least, with a point. While a win will keep them in the hunt for a top eight finish and therefore, avoiding two extra matches next month.
Marseille, meanwhile, will most likely have to settle for a play-off place, but need a victory to ease any concerns over being eliminated from Europe.
Here’s everything you need to know about where to watch the match...
