Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe offered a an update on Friday suggesting that Lewis Hall could be fit to play, with Tino Livramento, Kieran Trippier, Sven Botman and Anthony Elanga all getting close to a return to the side.
Crystal Palace may be without Chris Richards who has missed the last two games, and may not be fit in time for Sunday's clash, while Eddie Nketiah may also miss out having missed the teams clash with Fulham on New Year's Day. The team may be bolstered by the arrival of Brennan Johnson who is expected to complete a move from Tottenham Hotspur, and could potentially arrive in time to be able to be selected for Sunday's meeting.
