The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations concludes in Rabat
The continent's top two teams collide as hosts Morocco bid to end a 50-year wait for their second AFCON title.
Sadio Mane’s Senegal are bidding to spoil the party after ending Mohamed Salah’s AFCON hopes in the semi-finals.
Morocco will be backed by some 53,000 home supporters in Rabat. They have only won AFCON once, 50 years ago, and will hope to deliver another title to their adoring fans on home soil.
Senegal are also bidding for their second AFCON crown, having claimed their maiden trophy at the 2021 edition in Cameroon.
There was just one goal between the two semi-finals, as Senegal edged past Egypt after Sadio Mane’s long-range winner and Nigeria vs Morocco was settled by a penalty shootout after 120 goalless minutes.
