Spurs will hope to continue unbeaten summer run at Hotspur Way after tour Down Under

Tottenham host Getafe in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Hotspur Way this afternoon.

Spurs are now back home after their productive pre-season tour of New Zealand and Australia, where they earned bragging rights over London rivals Chelsea thanks to Richarlison’s last-gasp strike despite the earlier quick-fire dismissal of Kevin Danso off the bench.

Tottenham are reaching the business end of their preparations for the new Premier League campaign, with only a double-header to come against Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim next weekend before they get under way with a short trip to Brentford on August 22.

Getafe finished seventh in LaLiga last term under Jose Bordalas and come into this fixture following consecutive friendly defeats by Monaco and Atletico Madrid.

They also played out a goalless draw with Real Valladolid after opening the summer with back-to-back wins over Tenerife and Reading.
