Both sides hoping to snap extended winless runs

Tottenham vs Newcastle
Tottenham welcome Newcastle to north London this evening as they look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.
Thomas Frank is in dire need of a win, having failed to pick up three points in the league since December, but he may struggle to get one over on the Magpies.
Newcastle are something of a bogey team for Spurs, who have beat Eddie Howe’s men just once in their last eight meetings.
But just as it has been a difficult month for Tottenham, Newcastle find themselves on a similarly miserable a run.
They have lost three on the spin in the Premier League, at the hands of Brentford, Liverpool, and Aston Villa.
The Geordies were also dumped out out of the Carabao Cup by Manchester City after two grimly one-sided semi-final legs, though those matches came either side of a valiant draw away at Paris Saint-Germain.
Howe will come in for plenty more pressure should he fail to get the better of Frank’s crisis-stricken Spurs, though. Speaking at the weekend, he threatened to resign if he fails to turn the side’s form around, meaning he will be under particularly heavy scrutiny here.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on TNT Sports 3.
Live stream: TNT Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Discovery+ app and website.
