Huddersfield Town are on the verge of securing a loan move for Chelsea winger Alex Matos, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues are one side that have been notorious for loaning plenty of players out in the past, with some of their young, talented prospects either heading to English clubs or teams abroad to develop before returning to Stamford Bridge.
Some make the grade, some don't, and Matos will certainly be hoping he does following his summer move from Norwich City.
He looks set to join at Huddersfield side who have struggled since the departure of Neil Warnock, with Darren Moore in danger of taking the Terriers down to League One unless they can climb above some of the teams ahead of them in the Championship table.
With Sheffield Wednesday
In fairness to Moore and his predecessor Neil Warnock, the Terriers didn't do a huge amount in the transfer market during the summer.
This was a slight surprise following the arrival of new owner Kevin Nagle - and it remains to be seen whether they will be busier in the winter.
In a further update from Fabrizio Romano, he has revealed that Matos is set to undergo a medical today, which looks to be the final barrier in Huddersfield's quest to get a deal over the line.
It's unclear how long this deal with Mauricio Pochettino's (pictured above) side has been in the pipeline for - but Romano has revealed this agreement will be sealed straight after he has his medical tests.
There will be no option to buy him included in this loan deal, as expected.
Matos has made a Premier League appearance and that's impressive considering he's only 19.
But his goals and assists record hasn't been the best at Stamford Bridge this term - and the Terriers will be hoping he can be a real asset in the final third.
His contributions could be the difference between survival and relegation, so he needs to be an asset if he's to be a success at the John Smith's Stadium.
The winger is clearly a talented player though and is versatile, which can only help Moore when injuries and suspensions creep in.
He's a player worth taking a gamble on - and Huddersfield will just be hoping he can repay their faith.
