Chivas' 1-2 victory over Seattle Sounders in their final match of the Leagues Cup group stage left plenty of positives beyond the result. The team's collective performance and several individual displays allowed Guadalajara to close this stage with encouraging feelings ahead of the weekend, and Hugo Camberos stood out in particular.

After being named the best player and leading scorer of the Concacaf U-20 Championship with Mexico's national team, the Rojiblanco academy product returned to action with the First Team and took full advantage of the opportunity to raise his hand ahead of the start of the Apertura 2026.

Camberos entered in the 26th minute following the unfortunate departure of 'Cotorro' González and played 64 minutes, during which he changed the dynamic of the match.
