Corinthians returned to training on Tuesday for Thursday's meeting with RB Bragantino at 19:30 at Estádio Cícero de Souza Marques in Bragança Paulista, according to Globo.com.
Goalkeeper Hugo Souza missed the session with a virus, and if he is unavailable Felipe Longo will replace him.
Head coach Dorival Júnior could include a few new faces among the travelling party. Newly signed centre-back Gabriel Paulista has been working with the group and may be available.
There is also hope of Raniele and Yuri Alberto returning after sitting out the first round. The midfielder had been doing fitness work, while the forward travelled to Italy. Both have resumed ball work as normal.
José Martínez remains in Venezuela to renew his passport and has not yet joined pre-season. Memphis Depay, who is treating a bone oedema in his knee, has also not worked with the ball this year.
Dorival led a possession exercise with duels and finishing into small goals. Players who featured for more than 45 minutes against Ponte Preta then completed indoor recovery, while the rest stayed out for attack against defence and a small-sided game. Corinthians will complete preparations on Wednesday.
