Hulk strikes twice as Flu climb to third | OneFootball

Fluminense beat Corinthians 3-1 on Sunday in São Paulo to rise from fifth to third in the Brasileirão.

In the 24th minute, Hulk ran onto a Luciano Acosta through ball and finished from close range, and after a VAR check the goal stood.

Gustavo Henrique levelled (56.) from a corner, thumping in from close range following sustained pressure by Timão.

Hulk restored Flu's lead with a left-footed strike from outside the box (76.), set up by Ganso on a fast break.

Kevin Serna sealed it in the third minute of second half stoppage time, converting Martinelli's pass on the counter.

Fábio made six saves for Flu as the visitors absorbed pressure. Timão mustered 20 attempts and 11 corners. Flu were clinical, hitting the target with six of their 10 shots and clearing their lines 45 times.
