Hull City have made a major late push in the transfer market by completing deals for Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam and Genoa right-back Brooke Norton-Cuffy.

Iroegbunam has joined the Tigers for an initial £13 million, with the deal potentially rising to £22m through add-ons. The 23-year-old has signed a five-year contract and becomes another significant addition to Sergej Jakirovic’s midfield.

The England international came through the academies at West Bromwich Albion, Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa before joining Everton in 2024. He made 53 appearances for the Toffees across two seasons.

Hull then completed another late deal for Norton-Cuffy, who became the club’s 15th signing of the summer. The 22-year-old arrives from Genoa for a reported £12m and has also signed a five-year contract.

The England Under-21 international spent the last two seasons in Serie A, making 40 appearances after previously enjoying a loan spell at Rotherham United.

Cody Drameh has moved in the opposite direction as part of the deal, while Norton-Cuffy is expected to compete for, and potentially take over, the starting right-back role.
