Hull City sign Swedish forward Elliot Stroud | OneFootball

Hull City have completed the signing of Swedish forward Elliot Stroud on a four-year deal.

The 24-year-old, who has an English father, has penned a contract until 2030 with the option for a further season after joining the Tigers from Mjällby AIF.

"I am super happy and super excited to get started here," the Swedish international said on his arrival for an undisclosed fee. 

"When I first heard of the interest, it was the only thing I wanted to do.

"I spoke with the Chairman and I got an even better impression of the club and everything around it.

"I have individual hopes to play at the highest level possible. When an opportunity like this comes, it’s not something you take lightly. To do it here in Hull is a very exciting opportunity."

Stroud featured 16 times for Mjällby in the 2026 Swedish season until his departure, scoring seven goals.
