Hull City host Queens Park Rangers in the Championship on 21 February 2026 in Hull, with the home side protecting a play-off spot and the visitors aiming to build momentum in mid-table.
Queens Park Rangers edged the reverse fixture 3-2 in November. Hull City start this one fifth on 54 points, while Queens Park Rangers sit 13th with 44.
Hull won three straight league games in late January before a draw with Watford and a 3-2 home defeat to Bristol City, then went out of the FA Cup to Chelsea. Queens Park Rangers' last five in the league read draw, loss, win, draw, loss, including victory over Coventry and a home defeat by Blackburn.
Hull are without Matt Crooks, Semi Ajayi and Eliot Matazo, among others. Queens Park Rangers miss Illias Chair and Karamoko Dembele, while Rumarn Burrell, who has 10 league goals this season, is also sidelined.
Hull have scored 50 league goals and can supply Oliver McBurnie, on 12, and Joe Gelhardt, on 10, through the delivery of Ryan Giles, who has eight assists this season. Queens Park Rangers have won 756 aerial duels and could stand up well to crosses and set pieces, but with Burrell out they may need others to carry the attacking threat.
A win would move Hull to 57 points and could further cement their place in the play-off positions. Three points for Queens Park Rangers would take them to 47 and may nudge them towards the top half.
