Hysaj and Juan Jesus weigh Serie A futures

Elseid Hysaj and Juan Jesus are weighing Serie A options after becoming free agents when their contracts expired on 30 June.

Sky Sport Italia reports that Hysaj, 32, has a formal offer from Lecce, with a decision expected within the next 24 hours.

The Albania international has spent almost his entire career in Italy, playing for Empoli and Napoli before joining Lazio in 2021.

Juan Jesus was not offered a new deal at Napoli and could join newly promoted Venezia for another Serie A stint.

The Brazilian centre-back turned 35 last month and is not ready to retire or leave Italy, where he has played since 2012 with Inter, Roma and Napoli.
