‘I don’t care’ – Barcelona star unmoved by Real Madrid’s transfer business | OneFootball

Barcelona star Gerard Martín has this week provided his take on the busy summer being enjoyed by arch rivals Real Madrid to date.

The efforts of those in a position of power at the Santiago Bernabéu on the transfer front have of course dominated the media headlines across much of Europe over the course of the summer window to date.

Alongside a series of savvy sales, Los Blancos have been responsible for a string of impressive signings, across all areas of the pitch.

Deals for all of Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konaté, Marc Cucurella and Bernardo Silva have already been announced, with RB Leipzig sensation Yan Diomandé considered as being all but in the bag, too.

Next on the agenda is Manchester City standout and World Cup winner Rodri, as Florentino Pérez and co. do everything in their power to close the gap on a Barcelona side fresh off back-to-back La Liga titles.

Speaking during an interview with COPE this week, the aforementioned Gerard Martín was therefore asked for a Blaugrana-minded take on Real Madrid’s recent transfer business.

The stopper, though, seemed unmoved, in assuring:

“Let them sign whoever they want. Frankly, I don’t care who Real Madrid signs. We only focus on ourselves. We will compete as we do every year.”
