Hopland is currently a Norway Under-21 international and has clocked more than 700 minutes in the current campaign.
If he continues his progress then he is likely to catch the eye of bigger clubs, but it is Leeds United he is waiting for.
The young central defender revealed he has all the Leeds United shirts from the last 15 years in his wardrobe.
Hopland made it clear that he will do everything to make his dream to play for the Whites one day.
“People often laugh when I say this, but since I was four, it has always been Leeds United”, Hoplad said via Dutch outlet Voetbal Primeur.
“Together with my father, I have been there about 20 times.
“I think I have every shirt they’ve had in the last 15 years in my wardrobe and I still watch almost every game if it works out with our own schedule. A really great club.
“It is my dream to play for them one day and I will do everything I can to make that dream come true.”
Now only time will tell if Hopland will be able his fulfil his dream one day and end up as a player at Elland Road.
