El Mundo reports that the CNMC has opened sanction proceedings against Ibai Llanos for an alleged serious breach of the General Audiovisual Communication Law, an offence that can carry fines of 30,000 to 750,000 euros.

On 19 February the regulator’s council decided to initiate the case against the Porcinos president, whose team plays in the Kings League, over an alleged failure to meet obligations set out in article 94.

The specific obligation involved has not been disclosed.

After the report circulated on X, formerly Twitter, Llanos responded publicly in a joking tone, tagging @sanchezcastejon.

He later told a follower the case relates to the 2025 Velada artists presentation.

During that stream, Coca-Cola cans appeared on screen without the #publi label, and he then posted, tongue in cheek, that he was adding the tag just in case.

Despite the potential penalty, he has appeared relaxed while awaiting the final resolution.
