In just his second appearance for the Lions of Teranga, Ibrahim Mbaye made history by becoming the youngest ever scorer and assist provider for the Senegalese national team.

After making his debut last Saturday against Brazil (2-0) in London, coming off the bench with 15 minutes left on the clock, Ibrahim Mbaye was handed his first start by Pape Thiaw. The decision paid off handsomely as the Parisian starlet played a pivotal role in Senegal's emphatic 8-0 victory over Kenya.

The young Parisian found the net and set up two assists for El Hadji Malick Diouf and Sadio Mané, underlining his value within the Senegalese squad. At just 17 years, 9 months, and 25 days old, he has become the youngest goal scorer and assist provider in the history of the Lions of Teranga.

A standout performance for the Trappes native, who is staking his claim ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations, set to take place from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.

It is worth noting that in 14 appearances for Paris this season (10 in Ligue 1, 3 in the Champions League, and 1 in the UEFA Super Cup), Mbaye had yet to register a goal or an assist.
