Ibrahim Mbaye, who scored against the Red Devils in pre-season, is prepared to leave Paris Saint-Germain as he seeks regular minutes.

The report claims that INEOS have got in touch with the Senegalese forward’s camp and are discussing personal terms.

“United were linked with an approach for the Senegal international earlier this week, with reports in Spain claiming Old Trafford chiefs have already made contact with PSG over a potential deal, while Liverpool and Aston Villa have also been credited with interest.

Wage demands being discussed

“The player is understood to be open to a move to the Premier League, though he specifically wants to remain in the Champions League, a box that both United and Liverpool tick.”

Add to this the fact that the team from Merseyside have exited the race, and United now have a great chance to seal the deal.

A fee of £43 million would be needed to sign the Senegal international, but a move is likely to depend on Rashford. Should the Mancunian leave, space will open up for the PSG wonderkid.
