Ibrahima Sory Bangoura: the Guinean targeted by Club Brugge

Ibrahima Sory Bangoura, the 22-year-old Guinean midfielder from KRC Genk, has caught the eye of Club Brugge. The Belgian side is searching for a replacement for Raphael Onyedika, who could leave this summer.

Having joined Genk in January 2024 on a contract running until 2028, Bangoura is yet to secure a regular starting spot. However, his physical prowess and ball-winning ability have impressed Brugge. This season, he has featured in 14 league matches without registering a goal or an assist. His market value is estimated at €8 million, but Genk could demand more than €15 million to let him go.
