Arijon Ibrahimović has returned to Bayern Munich after a positive loan at Heidenheim, intent on earning a larger role under Vincent Kompany despite heavy competition.

According to BuLi News, the 20-year-old has come back with confidence after valuable Bundesliga minutes and wants to make the most of any chance at the Allianz Arena.

He said playing for what he considers the biggest club is an opportunity he wants to maximise, adding that he is very happy to be back.

He accepts regular minutes will be hard to secure and expects to start the season as back-up to new winger Luis Díaz, but believes patience will bring opportunities to show his talent.

He plans to give everything in training and matches to persuade the decision-makers that he merits increasing game time.

His versatility across both wings and central roles could help him earn minutes across the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champions League.
