Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has said he is not bothered by social media memes that have compared his mannerisms to popular comedy characters.

Rosenior has made an impressive start to his time atChelsea, winning all four of his Premier League fixtures and seven of his opening nine in all competitions. He's become only the second Englishman to win his first four Premier League games as a manager.

Despite that run, Rosenior has been the subject of some social media mockery, with comparisons to comedic characters includingDavid Brent of The Office and Will McKenzie from The Inbetweeners.

Rosenior insists he is 'not afraid' to be himself and brushed off being a figure of fun for some. He said the comments can impact his family but are not something he pays any attention to.

"I'm not afraid to be myself," Rosenior said to the media ahead of facing Leeds United this evening.

"If I wear glasses, if I sound a little bit over the top when I speak, or articulate myself in a certain way, or I don't look like a manager, it doesn't bother me at all.

"The reason I know is because I've got teenage children. They're on social media. It affects them, it affects my parents and my family. But I knew walking in to this job it was going to happen. It's normal.

"When you're prepared for it, it makes you smile. I'm a confident person. If you're affected by things like that, you shouldn't be in this job."
