Tottenham Hotspur manager Igor Tudor has defended his decision to substitute goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky against Athletico Madrid, admitting it was a "career first".

Tudor opted to replace first-choice keeper Guglielmo Vicario with Kinsky for the first leg of their Champions League last-16 knockout tie, despite the Czech having only made two appearances this season, both in the Carabao Cup.

Kinsky was substituted just 17 minutes into the match on Tuesday (10 March) after conceding three goals, with Spurs going on to lose the game 5-2.
