Igor Tudor has stated that his job at Tottenham Hotpsur is 'very hard' following last weekend's North London derby defeat to Arsenal.
Spurs were outclassed by the top-of-the-league Gunners last Sunday, a result that sees Tottenham just four points above the relegation zone.
Tudor was speaking to the press ahead of Sunday's game away to Fulham Spurs not having won a game in February which featured games against Arsenal, Newcastle United, and the two Manchester sides.
"Probably yes. I agree with you," Tudor said when asked if the job was harder than he had expected.
"Very tough, but it is what I said before, I don't change my opinion. That is it. So daily work, focus on all things we need to do – physical condition, mental condition, performance and waiting on players to come back.
"So we need to be focused on us, what we can do, less thinking about others and it should be good."
Indeed, Tudor can't dwell on getting Spurs to play a particular system or style just yet with results the top priority: "Now there is not too much time to think about performance or style, what I said before. Because of this whole case put together, I don't want now to repeat again, you know.
"It's really the question at the beginning to be prepared in that way. How are we going to take these points, you know, one way or the other way?
"So just that need to be focused. Unfortunately, it's for me very clear, I'm also not that kind of coach. I don't want to kill, let's say, style, let's say how we perform, what we do. But now at this moment, it's not possible to think about that thing."
The mental aspect of the game is also big for a Spurs team that are likely low on confidence: "I believe that the mentality changes by training. When the right thing is there and then to have enough training sessions that you can transmit this thing to your team that on Sunday you see, you know, from the fans, from the stadium. So that's the key, you know, there's hard work in other ways and there is no other possibility."
