Igor Tudor says the problems at Spurs are bigger than his previous clubs | OneFootball

Tottenham boss Igor Tudor says the problems at Spurs are bigger than at any club he has managed at previously.

The Croatian has managed at Juventus, Lazio, Galatasaray and Marseille, among other clubs, but says the problems at Tottenham are more of a challenge.

Asked to compare the situation at Spurs to other situations he was in at previous clubs, Tudor said: “It’s very difficult to compare because every situation is totally different. It’s impossible to compare, impossible. Because the problems are totally different.

“When I was at Juventus you have 20 players in the squad, here you come and you have 12 players. 

“There (Juventus) you fight for Champions League, here you fight for relegation. So that’s for the start. Then you go player by player, there are big differences everywhere.

“It’s not like you can go and do your job in the same way and we have the same results. So it’s impossible. Because the level of difficulty is always different. There is no copying anything. It’s a different league, it’s a different team, it’s a different league position, different players.

“Doing the same things when going to other teams, it will be totally different (the outcome). Even how you see the team, you recognise in the style of details, they will be totally different. So it’s impossible to compare.”

Tudor has only been in charge at Tottenham for two games, a 4-1 loss to Arsenal, and a 2-1 loss to Fulham.

Expanding on his answer regarding comparing the situations at clubs he has managed, the 47-year-old said: “You can only compare the level of difficulty. Is it more difficult there or here? Where are the biggest problems? Only that little bit you can compare. For me, this problem at Tottenham is bigger (than at previous clubs).

“From what I feel, what I see, this one (Tottenham) problem is bigger.”
