Chelsea travel to Arsenal looking for a first win against the Gunners since 2021, in what will be the fourth meeting between the teams this season.

The league game at Stamford Bridge finished 1-1, whilst Arsenal were victorious in both legs of the Carabao Cup semi final.

Jason Cundy on what Liam Rosenior must do against Arsenal

The Blues face a tough task, and it’s been made even more difficult with Estevao and Marc Cucurella set to miss out through injury.

Rosenior has confirmed Reece James is fit and available, and it’ll be interesting to see how Chelsea approach the game.

The Blues went very defensive in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi final, something Rosenior came under fire for.

One thing the Blues will need to combat is Arsenal’s threat from set pieces, and Chelsea have struggled to defend balls into the box this season.

Micah Richards has labelled their defending from crosses as really poor, and Cundy has urged Rosenior to implement one tactic.

“We know what Arsenal are going to do. What was interesting, actually, is we saw [Enzo] Maresca do it, and also Liam, is clear the box, and he left three up,” he told talkSPORT.

“I expect him to do the same, I’ll be disappointed if he doesn’t because Arsenal prey on chaos, they prey on bodies in the box and they’re very good at it.

Chelsea face tough March run

Having come through what’s been deemed as a more favourable run, the Blues will embark on a very tough March.

After playing Arsenal on Sunday, the Blues travel to Aston Villa and Wrexham, before further league games against Newcastle and Everton.
