Liam Rosenior says he will continue to take a cautious approach with youngster Estevao after the Brazilian scored in Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace.
The 18-year-old impressed once again for the Blues, opening the scoring before goals from Joao Pedro and Enzo Fernandez secured a comfortable win for Rosenior’s side.
“I think it says what we already know,” Rosenior said on Estevao’s performance.
“He’s a player with special ability, special talent.
“Every time he’s been on the pitch with me I think he’s been outstanding.
“If you watch that goal, what makes me so happy is that all 11 men are back behind the ball. That’s why he gets the space.
“I thought it was a top team performance away from home.”

Estevao has found himself in and out of the starting line-up this season but Rosenior says it is an approach he will continue with.
Asked why he has settled so well into life at the club, Rosenior explained: “I think there’s many aspects. Firstly, off the pitch I know his family are here with him and I know the club have worked really, really hard for him to settle.
“I also know that Andrey Santos and Joao Pedro have helped him, especially to settle into this country.
“In terms of on the pitch, with an 18-year-old with talent like his, you have to manage his minutes. You have to manage the games that you think are the right moments for him to have an impact.
“And I’ll keep doing that because I want him to have an outstanding season, but I want him to have an outstanding career as well.”
