Harry Amass has spoken out this evening to confirm he will be overseeing a spell on the sidelines.
The Manchester United academy prospect had only just joined Norwich City on loan for the second half of 2025/2026, before he was hit with a serious setback in training for his new club.

Amass was able to make his debut for the Canaries, doing so via a 15-minute cameo off the bench against league leaders Coventry City, but will now be waiting a while to add to his experience in green and yellow.
Taking to Instagram tonight, the youngster said: “I’m gutted to have picked up an injury in training.
“Obviously, this is not how I wanted my time at Norwich to start. However, I am determined to get back on the pitch as soon as possible. This is a setback I haven’t faced before, but I’m in a good mindset with good people around me to come back stronger.”

Prior to joining Norwich, the 18-year-old had spent five months on loan with Sheffield Wednesday, where he racked up an impressive 21 Championship starts and 1,868 minutes of first-team action for the South Yorkshire outfit.
However, United opted to recall him from his spell at the turn of the year in order for Amass to test himself in a less stressful environment; Wednesday’s widely-documented financial woes saw them hit with another point deduction (six) in December after initially having 12 deducted in October, when they filed for administration.
As a result, the full-back swapped Hillsborough for Carrow Road, with Norwich sitting 19th-placed in the division after 30 matches.
Amass has made seven senior appearances for United and is contracted to the Red Devils until June 2027. He is one up-and-coming star who’s expected to have a bright future at Old Trafford.
