Liam Rosenior revealed he was so “impressed” with Enzo Fernandez after his performance against Brentford on Saturday afternoon.
Chelsea recorded a much needed three points as they ran out 2-0 winners at Stamford Bridge against their west London neighbours.
Joao Pedro opened the scoring with a brilliant goal, before Cole Palmer rounded out the scoring with a second half penalty.
Having impressed against Arsenal in midweek, Fernandez once again started, but this time in a midfield pivot alongside the returning Moises Caicedo.
Celebrating his 25th birthday the Argentine played a key role in the opening goal as he blocked a clearance allowing the ball to fall into the path of Pedro.
Rosenior made a tactical switch in the second half which saw Fernandez move further up the pitch as Andrey Santos came on.

The 41-year-old has already said how he loves having Fernandez as part of the group, and he praised the World Cup winner for his performance.
“I’m so impressed. I knew what an outstanding player he was,” he told his post match press conference.
“I told him I was actually at the World Cup final when he played. It’s not until you see a player up close and you get to know him and what he’s about.
“I have to say he’s a winner. The way he trains, the reason he plays so well is he trains 100%. I’ve enjoyed working with him.
“It’s his birthday today, so I told him he should go to a steakhouse and enjoy some Argentinian steak. But no, he’s a magnificent player. More importantly, he’s a fantastic character and I love having him in this team.”
Whilst Fernandez continues to put in good performances, he is reportedly attracting interest from other clubs.

PSG are said to have shown interest in Fernandez, who’s reportedly disappointed with the departure of previous head coach Enzo Maresca.
Whether anything materialises remains to be seen, but if Chelsea are to have the best chance of keeping their best players they have to qualify for the Champions League as a bare minimum.
