Chelsea are now rock bottom of one of the charts that they used to top only last season, but trust me, this is absolutely a positive thing.
Chelsea have been topping stat charts this season or at least getting near the top, whether they are individual charts or a collective team chart. This season has been much better for Chelsea so far.
But perhaps the one thing that isn’t getting spoken about much that they have improved immensely in, is injuries.
Since Reece James came back, Chelsea have had ZERO injuries. This is basically unheard of at Chelsea, or at least it has been for a very long time. The last few seasons, Chelsea have often had the most amount of injuries to contend with. But now they have the least. It’s a remarkable turn around.
As you can see, Chelsea have just one injury this season and that isn’t even technically a first team player so not sure they should even be counted here. That is Omari Kellyman.
We are now bottom of a list that we were used to being at the top of!
Massive credit must go to the club for getting on top of these injuries, whether that was through new hires in the medical department, training regimes, recovery, diet, or simply just the fact that they have built a squad where they can field two decent lineups allowing key players to have breaks during cup games.
