Real Madrid winger Rodrygo Goes made a quick stop in Miami to watch Colombia against Portugal, and the attacker ended up giving Los Blancos fans a small glimpse of the new season.
Rodrygo was in the VIP area of the Hard Rock Stadium after previously being in New York for an Adidas event.
There, he met Bernardo Silva, who is set to become one of his new teammates at Real Madrid.
Rodrygo posted a photo with the Portuguese midfielder on social media and added a simple message: “Now together.”

Bernardo did not play in Portugal’s match against Colombia. After starting the World Cup opener against DR Congo, he was the player sacrificed by Roberto Martinez as Joao Felix came into the team.
Still, his presence alongside Rodrygo quickly caught attention because it felt like the first informal photo of Bernardo in Real Madrid surroundings.
Bernardo’s arrival is one of the more fascinating moves of the summer. He brings experience, intelligence, technical security and the ability to connect midfield with attack.
That matters for players like Rodrygo. The Brazilian thrives when the ball arrives cleanly between the lines and when there are midfielders capable of reading his movements. Bernardo is exactly that kind of player.
Rodrygo’s future seems to come under scrutiny every summer, and with Madrid’s ever-increasing attacking riches, it is not clear what role the Brazilian has going forward.
The Brazilian is currently recovering from an ACL injury that kept him out of the latter part of last season and the ongoing World Cup.

He is likely to stay for at least another season and could get a chance to play alongside Bernardo.
The Portuguese veteran is not arriving as a future promise. He is coming as a ready-made elite footballer who understands pressure, big matches and positional football.
Madrid have plenty of speed and individual quality, but Bernardo gives them the pausa and decision-making that could make the system click.
Rodrygo and Bernardo together is an exciting thought. One gives electricity in the forward line and the other gives control and passing range.
If Mourinho finds the right balance, the duo could go on to have a better connection than just a photo in Miami.
