Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah has spoken out on his potential new contract once more after his side's 2-0 win over Manchester City.
Salah joined Wayne Rooney as the player to score and assist in the same game on the most occasions (36) against the Cityzens, helping his side move nine points clear at the top of the Premier League.
And, after the game, the forward admitted that in his head it was his last time he would face Manchester City at Anfield, with his contract currently due to expire at the end of the season.
"Honestly… it's in my head. Until now this is the last Man City game I will play for Liverpool, so I was just going to enjoy it."
“I will enjoy every second here. Hopefully we just win the league and will see what will happen," he told Sky.
The comments arrive after he received backlash for speaking to the media in the wake of his side's 3-2 win over Southampton last week.
Will he be able to come to an agreement with the club?
