As football takes a short pause for the festive break, the Barcelona squad has scattered across the globe, with players switching matchday routines for family time and quiet celebrations.
Christmas has offered the Blaugrana stars a rare moment to slow down, reconnect with loved ones, and share glimpses of their private lives with fans through social media.
After Christmas Eve celebrations, several players chose to post photos of dinners, decorated homes, and intimate gatherings.
Some shared moments directly on their own accounts, while others appeared in posts uploaded by partners or family members.
The result was a collection of warm, familiar images that showed a different side of Barcelona’s stars away from the pressure of elite football.
For Robert Lewandowski, the holidays meant a return to his roots. The striker travelled to Poland to spend Christmas with his family, embracing a traditional and quiet celebration.
He was not alone, as teammate Wojciech Szczesny also chose to spend the festive period back home in Poland, enjoying time away from the spotlight with his loved ones.
Barcelona captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen opted for a short getaway, travelling to London with his partner to mark Christmas Day.
Meanwhile, young midfielder Fermin Lopez headed to Paris, making the most of the festive atmosphere in one of Europe’s most iconic cities.
South America was another popular destination. Raphinha returned to Brazil, while Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo travelled home to Uruguay.
One of the most talked-about destinations was Dubai, where teenage sensation Lamine Yamal is spending the holidays with his family.

Elsewhere, Roony Bardghji hosted a dinner to welcome Christmas, while Marcus Rashford shared a more homely moment by decorating his Christmas tree.
Goalkeeper Joan Garcia also took the chance to travel with his partner, making the most of the short break.
After months of intense competition, Christmas offered a brief but meaningful pause – one filled with family, warmth, and memories before the focus shifts back to football.
