Athletic face a striker dilemma for Wednesday at Levante's Ciutat de Valencia, with Iñaki Williams a doubt after a foot knock. Terzic is weighing options up front.
According to El Correo, Williams came off early against Elche, and although Terzic downplayed it, his status for the 21.30 kick-off is unclear. Gorka Guruzeta, Peio Canales and Dani Vivián trained apart and are unlikely to return before the international break.
If Williams misses out and with Guruzeta still out, Terzic could use Sancet as a false nine, with Berenguer behind and Nico and Robert Navarro wide. Alternatively, he could turn to Maroan, used in the final 10 minutes on Saturday.
Canales first suffered a muscular problem, then Guruzeta picked up a moderate hamstring issue, and both continue to work away from the group.
Terzic said he had just spoken to Williams, who had taken a kick to the foot and was in pain. He added they hoped he would be better on Sunday, noting he already felt improved on leaving the pitch.
Williams did not train on the grass at Lezama, with the session for non-starters. He has led the line three times under Terzic but has yet to deliver the expected end product.
After stepping away from Ghana duty last week, he reached 515 Athletic appearances and was involved in the equaliser against Elche. Terzic is due to update at midday on the conditions of Williams, Guruzeta, Canales and Vivián before the trip to Alavés on Saturday.
