FC Porto midfielder Inbeom Hwang was left out of South Korea’s matchday squad for Thursday’s friendly against Ecuador, scheduled for 12:00.

According to O Jogo, head coach Robert Moreno also omitted Atlético Madrid’s Kang-in Lee.

Hwang is regarded as one of the national team’s leading players.

South Korea are also set to face Uruguay on 28 September, Venezuela on two October and Uzbekistan on six October during this international window.
