India v Brazil friendly in Calcutta, kick-off time and TV channel | OneFootball

India host Brazil for the first time in their history on Saturday in Calcutta, a landmark friendly for the hosts.

According to L'Équipe, Brazil are the highest-ranked team India have faced since FIFA rankings began in 1992, ranked 6th.

India drew 1-1 with Panama last Thursday, and are due to meet Uruguay next Tuesday.

Carlo Ancelotti's Brazil navigated this international window in Australia, playing the hosts twice, first a 1-1 draw then a 4-2 win. Raphinha went off injured at half-time of the second game and will miss the trip to Calcutta, which will close their break.

The match is scheduled for 03 October 2026 at Salt Lake Stadium, Calcutta, with kick-off at 16h00. It will be shown in full on L'Équipe live foot.
