Cameroon face hosts Morocco in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations semi-final on Wednesday at 22:00, already assured of a 2027 World Cup place in Brazil. Morocco advanced by eliminating South Africa 2-1.

Marie Ngah’s 19th-minute penalty beat Ghana. Myriam Nyadjou’s 18th-minute free-kick saw off holders Nigeria, with goalkeeper Michaely Bihina making nine saves and taking player of the match. Cameroon’s defence, two conceded, trails only Morocco’s one. Whether it suffices against the favourites will be known around midnight.
