Inter Miami have appointed Íñigo Aznar as chief revenue officer for the club and Nu Stadium. The club said in a statement that the move comes as the organisation continues rapid and ambitious growth.
He will oversee revenue and marketing across partnerships, ticketing, retail and merchandise, and food and beverage. His remit also includes Heron Sports & Entertainment, the new platform for major events and corporate experiences at the club’s venues.
The role arrives at a defining stage for Inter Miami. With Inter Miami, Nu Stadium and the Florida Blue Training Center & Inter Miami CF Stadium, the organisation spans global football, live entertainment, premium hospitality and year-round commercial activity.
Aznar will look to build commercial momentum, consolidate sustainable growth and deepen ties with fans. Plans include new experiences across Nu Stadium and digital channels to boost engagement and broaden the global audience.
He brings 25 years of international experience across football, sport and entertainment, with senior roles at Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, Legends, the Volvo Ocean Race and the Rafa Nadal Academy.
At Atlético de Madrid he was chief commercial officer and a board member, overseeing the global commercial business and leading a transformation that nearly tripled annual revenues.
He later led partnerships at Legends, ran commercial strategy across two Volvo Ocean Race editions, directed the Rafa Nadal Academy’s international expansion, and began his career with Nielsen Sports.
Inter Miami conducted a global search for the post, and Aznar will report to president of business operations Xavier Asensi.
