Senegal international Pathé Ciss left the Anoeta Stadium pitch on a stretcher Sunday night, twenty minutes before the end of the match between his team, Rayo Vallecano, and Real Sociedad, as part of the eighth round of the Spanish La Liga.Despite his early exit and replacement by Jozhua Vertrouwd, post-match medical examinations confirmed that he suffered no serious injury. It was merely a slight muscular discomfort.
According to several media outlets, including "Radio Marca" and "Union Rayo," Pathé Ciss is doing well and will be back to full fitness quickly, allowing him to join the Senegal national team for the upcoming international break.Rayo Vallecano coach Inigo Pérez reassured the fans: "The situation seemed worrying at first, but the tests are reassuring. It's just a minor muscle discomfort and we're doing everything to ensure his optimal recovery."This incident caused concern among Senegalese supporters, who feared that Pathé Ciss might miss the Lions' two crucial World Cup qualifying matches against South Sudan and Mauritania.
