Porto have fast-tracked Santiago Gimenez and Souza into the squad to face Moreirense, despite only a few sessions at Olival. According to O Jogo, injuries and Deniz Gul’s departure have forced Francesco Farioli to include the Mexican striker and the Brazilian full-back.

Both have been registered with the league and could start on the bench, possibly collecting their first minutes. Gul’s exit leaves André Silva short of back-up, so Gimenez might even feature. Young forward Duarte Cunha is also included again.

Farioli said Gimenez and Souza will be in his matchday group, while Gabriel Mec needs more time and will not be on the UEFA list. He added that Seko Fofana shows strong fitness levels, is with the team and ready to help.
