Corinthians kept things calm and focused before a 5-1 win over Red Bull Bragantino in round six of the Brasileirão Feminino. Gabi Zanotti struck twice, Andressa Alves, Belén Aquino and Vic Albuquerque added the others, and the Brabas went top on 13 points from six games.

According to Meu Timao, Corinthians TV showed the arrival at Fazendinha and a relaxed yet concentrated dressing room. Emily Lima warned it would not be straightforward and said reproducing the week’s work could deliver a positive result.

After muscle activations and medical tune-ups, Vic, Rhaizza and Andressa Alves joined a futmesa-style game. Pitchside, president Osmar Stabile honoured Vic and Zanotti with plaques and shirts for 258 matches, the club record. Former great Grazi, now an executive, also received a 258 shirt.

On the grass, drills covered passing under pressure, keep-ups and ball carrying, while goalkeepers Lelê and Nicole Ramos worked on reactions and high claims. The team then changed into match kit and heard a final address.

Corinthians dominated the first half, Zanotti heading in after three minutes before adding three more before the break. The tempo dipped after half-time, Bragantino shot more but created little, and Vic finished a corner with her first touch to seal 5-1.

Afterwards, the scorers took their customary selfie and the players thanked the Fiel. Next up is Kansas City Current in the United States in the Teal Rising Cup semi-final on Thursday, 9 April at CPKC Stadium, 22:00 Brasília time.
