Villarreal's meeting with Levante brought a warm welcome, loud ovations and Aín centre stage through the club's Endavant Provincia.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, president Fernando Roig and chief executive Fernando Roig Negueroles greeted Levante's party led by president Pablo Sánchez. Federation chief Salvador Gomar attended, alongside Miguel Ángel Tena and ambassador Marcos Senna.

Home fans backed the side after Thursday's win in Málaga. During team announcements, Alberto Moleiro, Ilias Akhomach, Buchanan and Nathan Saliba drew big cheers, and Iñigo Pérez was applauded.

Levante started former Villarreal centre-backs Aïssa Mandi and Adrián De la Fuente, Dela. Loanee Thiago Fernández also began, with no clause restricting his involvement, the same for Dani Requena.

The Fan Zone was lively. Young supporters enjoyed a three-by-three pitch, face painting, crafts, an assault course, a Robótica Vila-real stand and a play zone.

Groc Talent's third show featured Lucas Mira, an Alicante singer, songwriter and producer who has toured Spain with Maldita Nerea and La Fuga and is now solo. The contest runs with the SanSan Festival and the Ayuntamiento de Vila-real.

Peña Sang Groga de Vila-real led the build-up at the Agrupació de Penyes del Villarreal CF (APV) and posed with the starting XI. The group's youngsters also took photos with Sang Groga leaders.

Aín was the day's featured municipality. Captain Sergi Cardona wore a special armband by Paula Martínez to honour the Plana Baixa town, spotlighting its identity, culture and heritage.
