Liverpool signed Mohamed Salah up to a new contract before the end of last season.
With his previous deal expiring in 2025, it was feared that the Egyptian king would be LEAVING on a free.

Nonetheless, another Richard Hughes masterclass saw the 33-year-old commit to an extra two years - with his latest deal now expiring in 2027.
It means Liverpool are not under immediate pressure to replace their top scorer and can carefully assess the market over the next year or so.
But one player already on the radar according to one prominent Bayern Munich insider is Michael Olise.
The France international, 23, moved to Bavaria last summer and has already proven to be an excellent addition.
Now Christian Falk is claiming that Liverpool, Manchester City - and European champions Paris Saint-Germain - are all interested in signing the former Crystal Palace star.
“Premier League clubs have Michael Olise on their radar,” Falk wrote in his Bayern Insider column.
“The Frenchman is currently in top form. Thomas Müller already predicted in a conversation with me that the winger would become an absolute leader at FC Bayern!
“Of course, other top European clubs have also noticed this. PSG are interested in Olise, and as a Frenchman, he would fit perfectly into the Ligue 1 outfit’s philosophy.
“But in England, too, there is annoyance that the player was not kept in the Premier League. Only Newcastle made a serious effort, but lost the poker game against Bayern Munich.
“Now, bigger clubs like Liverpool and Manchester City are also interested in Michael Olise.”
