Inter decide to move for Cristian Chivu as Simone Inzaghi replacement | OneFootball

Serie A giants have faced rejection in their move for Cesc Fabregas and are now prepared to hire Cristian Chivu as manager.

Yesterday, Chivu and Patrick Vieira had emerged as candidates to end up as the Inter manager. Gianluca di Marzio has now reported that a decision has now been made to pursue a move for the Parma manager, who has impressed in his stint at the club after having managed the Nerazzurri Primavera side.

Beppe Marotta and the Inter management have made the decision to move for him and the ex-Inter player has now become the main candidate to become their next boss.

Attempts are being made to finalise a move, even if Vieira has a history with Inter and his current Genoa contract has an affordable release clause.

Simone Inzaghi has already joined Al Hilal, having signed a hefty contract and having confirmed his desire to leave Inter some days ago.
