It finishes level at the Rose Bowl. Group E rivals Rayados and Inter have shared the spoils in a thoroughly entertaining clash.

Monterrey nearly scored a late winner but the ball hit the side-netting from close-range! What a shock that would have been.

Lautaro appeared to put Inter ahead but the Argentine striker was a whisker offside! It remains level in a very tense affair.

We're back underway at the Rose Bowl in the second with the game well up for grabs.

GOAL

Just like that, Inter have pulled level in this fascinating Rose Bowl showdown. A well worked set-piece was capped off by Lautaro Martínez.

Who else?

GOAL

Rayados take a shock lead against Inter, and who else would be the goalscorer but Sergio Ramos from a corner!

Like many games we've seen today, the bulk of the play appears stuck in midfield as these two unfamiliar foes feel each other out.

In stark contrast from the earlier match in Orlando, the atmosphere at the Rose Bowl is crackling between two massive clubs from their respective regions.

And with that, we're underway between Inter and Rayados in Los Angeles.

FULL-TIME

Mamelodi Sundowns hang on to win their opener against Group F rivals Ulsan, becoming the first African side to win at the tournament this summer.

We still have some action left in Orlando, but on the other side of the country take a look at who is warming up!

Ulsan nearly draw level but it's cleared off the line!

Mamelodi Sundowns continue to push to double their lead after the break, but the Ulsan rearguard has been up to the task.

The starting XI for Cristian Chivu's first Inter Milan match is here!

It's been a whirlwind first-half for Iqraam Rayners. The striker has scored once and seen another chalked off, and now has put the ball in the back of the net once more — but it was ruled out for offside! He certainly has been busy.

GOAL!

Rayners wouldn't be denied a second time as the South African has cut through the Ulsan backline to score the opener.

South African side Mamelodi Sundowns looked to have nabbed the lead but a VAR check revealed that Iqraam Rayners handled the ball just before the ball hit the back of the net.

☀️ The weather is certainly impacting the players as we are being treated to perhaps our slowest affair so far in this young tournament.

It's been a low-key start in a low-key atmosphere in Orlando, and the first real chance has gone begging.

The teams are out and we are underway after an hour-long weather delay!

The weather may be a stick in the mud but the fans are still ready in Orlando!

⛈️ Unfortunately we have a weather delay at the start of the Group F showdown between Ulsan and Mamelodi Sundowns.

We're less than an hour away from our next game, as a busy day continues.

Ulsan and Mamelodi Sundowns meet in one of the more obscure clashes of the tournament.

After that, it's the turn of Inter, who take on Sergio Ramos and Monterrey in Cristian Chivu's first game in charge.

FULL TIME: RIVER PLATE 3-1 URAWA REDS

River get the three points with a relatively comfortable win.

Five minutes added on here.

Here's the goal that sealed the win for River.

Urawa are running out of time here, and look a beaten side.

GOOOOAL! RIVER MAKE IT 3-1!

That might just be that.

Maximiliano Meza rises highest to power home a header from a corner, and River are closing in on a game one win.

The midfielder came on at the break, and has made a big impact.

There's just over 20 minutes left here, and Urawa are right in this.

Who would have thought that give how the opening 50 minutes of this game played out.

GOAL! URAWA REDS ARE BACK IN IT!

Takurō Kaneko is taken down foolishly by Acuña, and after a delay, Yūsuke Matsuo confidently slots home.

Game on.

GOAL! RIVER DOUBLE THE LEAD

It's 2-0 and it's a disaster moment for the J1 side.

Sebastián Driussi is the scorer, getting to the ball ahead of keeper Shūsaku Nishikawa to score after a wayward header allowed the River striker to nip in.

And we're back under way in Seattle!

HALF TIME: RIVER PLATE 1-0 URAWA REDS

Colidio's goal is the difference at the break.

CLOSE FOR URAWA!

Takurō Kaneko has his side's best chance, but fires straight at Franco Armani from just outside the box.

It's an improvement.

Urawa have had the ball in the River net, but it was immediately ruled offside.

They are only a goal down though, and are still in this contest.

Here's the goal. Poetry in motion.

Urawa are struggling to get a foothold in this game, and are yet to have a shot on target here.

It's no less than River deserve. They have absolutely dominated this game so far, with all the shots on goal and nearly all of the ball.

GOAL! RIVER PLATE TAKE THE LEAD

The Argentine giants are into the lead after just 12 minutes through Facundo Colidio.

The striker powered a header from close range after Marcos Acuña's brilliant cross beat the defence.

KICK OFF!

And we're underway at the Lumen Field.

We're just five minutes away from our second game of the night, where River Plate take on Urawa Red Diamonds.

FULL TIME:  Fluminense 0-0 Borussia Dortmund

Dortmund hold on against Fluminense's bombardment and have Kobel to thank for helping to keep a clean sheet. The sides share the points in Group F.

CHANCE DORTMUND

Niklas Süle thumps a powerful strike from 30 yards but Fábio scrambles across his goalline to push to safety. That was the closest Dortmund have come in the second half!

Both sides going more direct in the closing stages here but no clear cut chances in injury time just yet.

Six minutes of injury time. Is there time for a winner?

CHANCE DORTMUND

Daniel Svensson ghosts in behind the Fluminense defence to attack Julian Ryerson's cross and headers wide.

Into the final 10 minutes in this Group F clash and Fluminense still look the more likely to find a late breakthrough.

Dortmund get on the attack and substitute Felix Nmecha works Fábio with a fierce effort.

Dortmund were pretty impressed with that Kobel double!

DOUBLE SAVE KOBEL!

Wow! Kobel comes to Dortmund's rescue with two top-notch saves. He first prevents a long-range effort from Everaldo before smothering the follow-up from Nonato. Superb reflexes!

Here's that earlier chance from Hércules. Not too far away at all!

CHANCE DORTMUND

Dortmund have a rare spell of possession inside Fluminense's half and Marcel Sabitzer decides to shoot from distance, which is held comfortably by Fábio.

He's on! Jobe Bellingham comes on for his Dortmund debut.

BIG CHANCE!

Everaldo is clean through on goal, but decides to cut back and lay off to Agustín Canobbio and the forward shoots straight at Kobel. A let off for Dortmund.

Kobel gathers a cross from Arias as Fluminense continue to probe for the first goal.

Fluminense pick up where they left off and push for the opener immediately, with Hércules thumping over the crossbar from a tight angle.

SECOND HALF

We're back to it for the second 45 in New Jersey. Will we see a winner emerge?

HALF TIME: Fluminense 0-0 Borussia Dortmund

Fluminense have been piling the pressure on Dortmund and the Brazilian side will feel they should be ahead at the break. Niko Kovač's side have struggled to generate any real chances and have been snubbed out well by Fluminense's impressive backline.

The tempo has dipped slightly with five minutes to go in the first period. That will suit Dortmund, who can take the sting out of Fluminense's attack.

ANOTHER CHANCE

Fluminense seem desperate to go into half time with the lead as Arias curls towards the bottom corner and Kobel is alive to tip it behind for a corner.

FLUMINENSE GO CLOSE!

Fluminense burst forward on the counter and work the ball to Martinelli on the edge of the area who flashes a powerful shot inches wide. That was very close to finding the net!

Adeyemi takes a wonderful first touch inside the Fluminense area, tries to work half a yard and shoot, but is quickly charged down by a swarm of Tricolour defenders.

CHANCE FLUMINENSE

Hércules grows impatient and lashes a low drive from 25 yards just past the bottom corner. A decent effort and not too far away.

Karim Adeyemi flashes a dangerous cross through the six-yard area and Serhou Guirassy is inches away from converting. The best opening for Dortmund so far.

BIG CHANCE!

Arias is causing Dortmund all kinds of problems and fires towards the bottom corner, forcing Gregor Kobel into action.

A reminder that Fluminense's goalkeeper is still playing at the highest level, aged just 44. Impressive!

Dortmund finally get forward and Julian Ryerson whips a dangerous cross into the box, which the Fluminense defence manage to clear with ease.

Fluminense are having the better of the opening exchanges here and keep pinning Dortmund back inside their own half.

CHANCE FLUMINENSE

Jhon Arias races into the box and smashes a shot over the bar. A great flowing move from the Brazilians there as we have the first opening of the game.

KICK OFF

Here we go, Fluminense vs Borussia Dortmund is up and running!

We're just moments away from kick-off as the players head onto the pitch.

Just 15 minutes to go until kick off now and the atmosphere is building at the MetLife Stadium.

Dortmund won 2-0 in the 1997 Intercontinental Cup final, beating Brazilian side Cruzeiro in the final. It was BVB's only previous meeting with a Brazilian opposition.

Both sides name full-strength starting XIs for this Group F opener.

Dortmund's new midfielder Jobe Bellingham is on the bench but could get minutes later in the game.

Here are the starting XIs for Fluminense and Borussia Dortmund at the MetLife Stadium.
