Yann Bisseck slammed Inter Milan for losing concentration during tonight’s nerve-wracking 2-1 home win over Kairat Almaty.
Speaking to Inter TV via FCInterNews, Bisseck urged his teammates to maintain their focus.
Inter Milan maintained their perfect Champions League record this season, but it was not plain sailing by any stretch of the imagination.
Despite being heavily favored before the kick-off, Cristian Chivu’s side struggled to break down Kairat’s low defensive block.
However, the Nerazzurri found an all-important breakthrough on the stroke of halftime.
Indeed, Lautaro Martinez scored his fourth Champions League goal of the season to give the hosts a narrow halftime lead.
Yet, Kairat shockingly fought back ten minutes after the break, with Ofri Arad leveling the score.
Carlos Augusto spared Inter’s blushes midway through the second half with a superb goal from outside the box.
As a result of another continental success, Inter now boast a maximum of 12 points from their opening four league-phase outings.
Therefore, the San Siro giants will face Atletico Madrid in the next round in high spirits, potentially aiming to secure an automatic place in the last 16.

“It was a tough match,” Bisseck claimed. “They played well and did their things properly.
“We know we have to improve and stay more focused.
“We created a lot, but at the back we need to remain concentrated for the full 90 minutes. In the end, we’re happy with the three points.
“The next four games will be difficult, but we’re strong, we believe in ourselves, and we’ll see what happens.”
Then, he commented on Julian Nagelsmann’s decision to omit him from his Germany squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Furthermore, he admitted that he is desperate to return to the national team as soon as possible.
“I hope so,” Bisseck added. “And I hope the coach is watching.
“I think I’m playing well, but I can still improve. I hope to get a call-up, but even if it doesn’t happen, I have to help the team.
“And if I keep performing well, I believe I’ll make it to the national team eventually.”
