Experienced referee Daniele Doveri performed well in last night’s Serie A top-table six-pointer between Inter Milan and Napoli.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 48-year-old got all the key decisions right.
Inter and Napoli shared the spoils in a pulsating 2-2 draw at San Siro, with the Nerazzurri wasting the lead twice.
Indeed, Federico Dimarco opened the scoring after just nine minutes, only for Scott McTominay to draw Napoli level before halftime.
Despite regaining the lead through Hakan Calhanoglu midway through the second half, the hosts failed to take three points.
McTominay slotted home a crucial 81st-minute equalizer to keep the Scudetto race wide open.

Doveri held up his end of the bargain, though it was far from a flawless performance.
Indeed, he needed VAR’s help to award a clear-cut penalty to Inter in the second half.
Although he failed to spot Amir Rrahmani’s reckless tackle on Henrikh Mkhitaryan at first, he changed his mind after reviewing the incident.
Meanwhile, his decision not to send Juan Jesus off for a bizarre challenge on Marcus Thuram was also spot on.
However, Doveri should have shown at least three more yellow cards last night, including the one to Rrahmani.
