Arrigo Sacchi has heaped praise on Inter Milan after Tuesday’s impressive 3-0 home win over Slavia Prague in the Champions League.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Sacchi admitted that Inter’s victory made him feel enthusiastic.
Inter Milan strolled to a comprehensive triumph in their second Champions League outing under Cristian Chivu.
Indeed, Lautaro Martinez scored twice to inspire the Nerazzurri to three precious points in the early stages of the league phase.
Meanwhile, Denzel Dumfries maintained his formidable European form with a simple tap-in on the stroke of halftime.
Therefore, Inter built on a 2-0 win at Ajax on the opening matchday, increasing their chances of securing direct last-16 qualification.
Moreover, Chivu’s men have now won four consecutive matches in all competitions.
On top of that, free-scoring Inter netted at least two goals in each triumph, setting themselves up nicely for Cremonese’s visit on Saturday.
With the international break around the corner, the Nerazzurri will be out to grab three more points in Serie A.

“Chivu’s team played well, and finally, we’re starting to see something new tactically as well,” Sacchi stated.
“Higher offensive pressing and a clear intent to dominate the field,” was what impressed the iconic AC Milan coach.
Indeed, Inter put Slavia Prague to the sword in a dominant performance on Tuesday night.
In addition to Lautaro’s brace and Dumfries’ first Champions League goal of the season, other players also stepped up.
Marcus Thuram and Alessandro Bastoni registered an assist each.
Furthermore, Petar Sucic delivered another reassuring display in the middle of the park.
With Nicolo Barella rested, the Croatian midfielder made his first European start for the Nerazzurri.
Hakan Calhanoglu and Sucic dominated possession, dictating the tempo and linking play between midfield and attack.
It’s also worth noting that Inter recorded their third clean sheet in four matches.
That’s a notable improvement compared to the start of the season.
