While some players are busy on international duty, others are taking advantage of the pause in club football to relax, and that includes Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu who dined with his staff at a restaurant owned by Nerazzurri legend Javier Zanetti.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the coach recently enjoyed an evening out with part of his backroom staff at ‘Gaucho’.

This is the Buenos Aires-style steakhouse owned by Javier Zanetti, Inter’s vice-president and club legend.

Zanetti himself joined the dinner, which turned into a friendly get-together captured in several social media posts.

Among those present were Aleksandar Kolarov, Mario Cecchi, Stefano Rapetti, Gianluca Spinelli, Maurizio Fanchini, Christian Di Claudio, and Matteo Torresi.

The evening therefore provided a relaxed break for Chivu and his team ahead of a demanding stretch of fixtures.

Indeed, starting with next weekend’s Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan.

As Corriere notes, moments like these help to “strengthen the unity” of the group.

However, one that has already made togetherness one of its key strengths this season.
