Denzel Dumfries has changed agent again, with the Inter Milan wing-back’s father Boris now holding his formal representation ahead of a summer in which the Dutchman’s €25 million release clause activates for the first time.

According to Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, Dumfries signed with the Epic Sports agency of Ali Barat in the autumn, but that arrangement has been restructured.

Epic Sports now manage only his image rights, while Boris Dumfries has taken over as his formal agent.

It is the latest in a long series of representation changes for the 29-year-old.

His agency history tells a story of ambition and frustration in equal measure.

After Mino Raiola’s death, Dumfries stayed briefly with Rafaela Pimenta before moving to Wasserman, the agency that negotiated his current Inter contract, which includes the €25 million release clause valid throughout July.

A subsequent partnership with Jorge Mendes ended quickly before the move to Epic Sports.

Each change has been driven in part by Dumfries’s desire to engineer a Premier League move.

Indeed, his performances in the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona last season raised his profile enormously. However, meaningful English interest has been limited.

Only Aston Villa moved concretely, and Dumfries turned them down.

Therefore, his contract situation remains unresolved. He earns €4.2 million net per season with an agreement expiring in 2027, and no renewal talks have ever taken place.
